The Mind Matters Audio Visual Division is the brainchild of Founder & CEO, Vinit Mahey who comes with extensive experience in the field. The Mind Matters Audio Visual Division is an extremely cohesive team of the crème de la crème of creative and technical talent. Vinit who made his foray into the world of audio visual productions with an internship at Discovery Channel India brings with him a sound knowledge of TV channel management and production. Inspired by the work culture and ethos at Discovery, this division functions on an identical pattern when it comes to production.

With a wide talent pool of experts in scripting, camera, audio, lights, direction, production management, editing, animations, special effects and marketing Mind Matters ensures that the best team works on any specific client assignment. These experts are committed to Mind Matters assignments and come together for productions under the banner. Chetan Deshmukh , the principal associate consultant to Mind Matters on special effects and animations is from UCLA, California and has worked extensively on the Oscar winning film Chicago. Likewise, Shriram Shinde and Huned Contractor, principal associate consultants on scripting to Mind Matters are journalists by profession. While Shriram has a penchant for wild-life and has been associated on numerous assignments of National Geographic Channel, Huned has been associated with the Ford Foundation and is an acclaimed film critique in Pune.

Vinit has successfully managed to create and build this team of executive associate consultants on the basis of his strengths and background in management and media. Many of his documentaries have been repeated telecast on India’s largest viewed national television channel. Be it prolific voice-over, anchoring programmes on camera, scripting or direction, Vinit has an all encompassing background in the reel world.

Be it wild life or education, documentary production has always been Vinit Mahey’s prime interest. During his career in the reel world, he has contributed significantly to documentary making working closely with the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) at New Delhi. Documentaries like ‘A Life Amongst Wild life’ and ‘Careers in Tellywood’ have been particularly appreciated and repeatedly broadcast on India’s largest television network. Vinit has also directed short duration documentaries presenting social causes of concern to Pune. Mind Matters is equipped with the necessary capabilities and experience to produce documentaries based on virtually any topic or issue of concern or even presenting diverse facets about people and places or then even science and technology.

A fairly accepted tool of demonstrating products, CD’s and animations are irreplaceable. These need to be backed by appropriate content and depending on the target audience, often technical aspects need to be explained in a common-man language. This is the real challenge in these tools of communications.
